Mini Kadomatsu (New Year's Pine Decoration) - Laughing Bamboo, Fine Bamboo, Hachiku - Cat Specification Available - Set of 6 - Click Post

The corners are sanded multiple times to ensure a smooth, peaceful year without any sharp edges.
Each item is crafted with the wish that the buyer will experience much happiness and live with a calm and safe heart.

We have cut warai-take (laughing bamboo) for mini kadomatsu from fine garden bamboo (hachiku).
This set includes 6 pieces, each approximately 15cm long.
We've also created some warai-take with cuts that resemble a cat's face, so please feel free to use them.

As we cannot guarantee we can cut them in a cat-like shape again, we will be shipping the actual item shown.
*Image 3 shows the item that will be shipped.

If you wish to have new ones cut and made, it will take time to produce them, so it will be difficult to ship on the same day as your purchase.
The item in the image can be shipped immediately.

[Example of how to bundle 3 warai-take] *See image 4
The 3 warai-take are bundled by securing them with rubber bands at two points, top and bottom, and placed in a cylindrical glass cup for the photo.
Bamboo is oily and slippery, so rubber bands are easier to use for bundling than zip ties.
Also, if you want to make it easier to bundle with zip ties, you can temporarily secure the less visible parts in the center of the three pieces with adhesive or masking tape if you want to be able to separate them later.

[About the price]
Production takes several days as it is all handmade and requires time and physical strength.
Cutting the bamboo and making the angled cuts are all done by hand, one by one.
After that, we use multiple pairs of scissors to cut off any splintered parts, and then finish by sanding with multiple files.
It is particularly physically demanding, so we cannot cut many in a single day.
We handle each item one by one, considering the weather, while also managing daily chores and packing and shipping for other customers.
The pricing reflects the effort and time involved, so we appreciate your understanding.
