● This is a flower vase made of porcelain, hand-thrown on a potter's wheel, hand-painted, and crafted by Kyoyaki/Kiyomizu-yaki kiln master, Kyosen Tsuchiyama, the fifth generation.

The lotus flower design on the unglazed body is expressed using the Itchin relief technique with raised decoration, colored with underglaze pigments, and finished with a blue-firing material applied overall, then fired without glaze.

After the final firing, the entire piece is finished with gold sand (kin-sunako) overglaze.

● This flower vase was created as a test piece based on a customer's request: My Buddhist altar is dark and I don't like it, so please make something brighter.

The lotus flower design, colored with underglaze on the blue-fired porcelain, and the overall gold sand finish create a luxurious appearance.
