Description
This is a maki-e (gold lacquer) nail clipper, meticulously finished one by one by artisans from Hashimoto Shitsugei Co., Ltd., a company founded at the end of the Edo period.
The nail clipper itself uses a product from Kai Corporation, a long-established cutlery manufacturer founded in 1908.
It is a sharp nail clipper that utilizes the technology of Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, a town renowned for its cutlery.
This item combines the practical and the beautiful, merging the traditional Japanese craft of Kishu Lacquerware with the globally popular character Hatsune Miku.
