This is a steak plate set from Seieido, a brand by the Nambu ironware manufacturer, Gyoen Foundry (OIGEN), from Iwate Prefecture's traditional crafts.

The thick cast iron retains a lot of heat, which spreads quickly and evenly throughout, allowing for delicious cooking.
Made from thick Nambu cast iron, it also boasts excellent heat retention.

Food cooked in ironware contains 15 to 19 times more iron compared to aluminum or stainless steel pots, and is being re-evaluated for its health benefits, such as preventing anemia.

Nambu ironware steak plates have extremely high heat storage capacity, allowing you to serve directly from the cooking surface to the table, keeping your meat piping hot until the very last bite.
