Forged Handmade Chinese Wok IH Heater Compatible Beijing Wok Extra Deep Frying Pan

This is a wok designed for stable use on IH heaters.
Diameter approximately 255mm, total length including handle approximately 450mm.
Depth approximately 60mm.
Weight approximately 900g.
Plate thickness is 1.6mm.

It is made using the tankin (hand-forging) technique, where iron plates are heated to around 800°C and slowly cooled for about 6 hours, then hammered into shape at room temperature.
This wok has undergone a total of three annealing processes during its creation.

While IH heaters typically require a special trivet (stand) for woks, this one can be used without one.

Compared to a general wok (Beijing wok), the bottom is flattened, which inevitably makes the depth slightly shallower. Therefore, the angle of the raised edge has been changed to improve usability.
Although made as a wok, it can be used as an extra-deep frying pan.
We believe it will be convenient for bulky dishes like stir-fried vegetables.
