Below is the introduction from the brand's website.
Introducing a new color: Royal Baby Pink!!
Made with leather in a very cute, powdery pink color.
Intrecciato is Italian for braided.
It is woven in a similar way to Asian rattan baskets, but because the material is leather, it requires delicate adjustments such as tension control and angled cuts on the strips, all done by hand.
The intricate Intrecciato, created with time and effort, results in a luxurious and delicate appearance.
Furthermore, when held in your palm, you can feel a softness and lightness that is different from a single piece of leather.
This traditional Italian craft technique has been adapted into a new style in Tokyo.
The GG brand's Intrecciato, woven with 8 strands of leather cord, offers a different kind of luxury compared to the 6-strand weave.
The handle is lavishly decorated with large fringes and an original charm.
