For dogs in the nipping phase and male Japanese dogs with strong chewing power, a thickness that they can just barely hold will allow them to enjoy it for a long time.

Pear wood branches are less likely to have thorns sticking out, and the wood shavings after chewing crumble like cork, so they are harmless if swallowed as they are from fruit trees.

We peel the bark from pear branches grown in Niigata Prefecture one by one and dried for 2 years.

As this is a handmade item by an amateur, we use a chainsaw for cutting and a belt sander (file) to shave the small branches, but please understand that there may be overlooked imperfections or cracks/splits due to excessive drying.
As it is made of wood, teeth will not be damaged, and if you choose the size carefully, there is no risk of injuring the inside of the mouth, but please let your dog play under your supervision.
Please refrain from use if your dog has fruit tree allergies.
