This is a handmade item, likely purchased as a souvenir during a trip to Gujo Hachiman.
It is made from the bag that originally contained balloon vine seeds.

Balloon vine seeds are black with a white, heart-shaped spot, which has been used to create the face of this charming Sarubobo folk craft.
It is very small and delicate.
It is displayed in a glass case, seated on a red chirimen (crepe fabric) cushion. This item has been stored for a long time.

There are no noticeable damages, but the light brown seed bag may show some deterioration from the time of purchase.
We plan to ship it in a box, but it is possible it may shift inside the box during transit. We will do our best to secure it, but we cannot guarantee it will not move, so please understand this point.
