MINOLTA X-500, SLR film camera, with red strap

This is a MINOLTA 35mm film SLR X-500 (black) body only. Lens, batteries, etc. are not included. This was the first camera I owned 40 years ago, but I don't feel like disposing of it as is, so I'm looking for someone who needs it.

All operations such as power, shutter, winding, light meter, self-timer, etc. have not been confirmed. Please purchase as-is for repair/parts (treated as junk).

[Exterior]
There are scuffs and minor scratches commensurate with its age. No cracks or major dents are visible (see photos).
The condition of the viewfinder, mirror, and light seals (light blocking material) has not been confirmed. Please consider that there may be fine dust and deterioration.
