Saul Leiter "Early Color" Photography Book
Saul Leiter (1923-2013) began his career as a fashion photographer in 1957 and worked for magazines such as *Esquire* and *Harper's Bazaar* for 20 years. He continued to take photographs and paint every day until shortly before his death at the age of 89, leaving behind a vast body of work. His sources of inspiration were within a few blocks of his home apartment on East 10th Street in Manhattan, and his worldview, capturing the streets of New York in color as a genius who found beauty in ordinary places, has recently received high acclaim worldwide and in Japan.
This book is the first photobook that sparked Saul Leiter's popularity, Early Color.
