This model is recommended for targeting octopuses lurking at your feet. It is ideal for tekutoro (walking along the breakwater and targeting octopuses hiding between the breakwater and the seabed) and for fishing for octopuses clinging to the sides of breakwaters by dropping lures along the wall. Deeper breakwater foundations are also hiding places for octopuses, so we hope you will also use it for short casts to target them. The delicate tip that senses even slight changes and the butt power that allows for quick retrieves are proof of its specialized design.
