SONY Trinitron CRT TV KV-6X1 Portable TV

CRT TV KV-6X1 featuring SONY's Trinitron technology.

- Model Name: KV-6X1
- Brand: SONY
- Type: CRT TV
- Feature: Trinitron Technology

A high-tech product from the Showa era.
Both video and audio output are functional.
Used only indoors, never outdoors.
It has been left on a shelf for some time.
Video output was confirmed by connecting the RCA yellow output from a Hi8 video camera.
Audio output was also confirmed via an RCA output to mini-pin jack conversion cable. This cable is included.

This is just a personal opinion, but I was surprised by how beautiful the picture was, more than I expected. Of course, it's nowhere near current HD quality or smartphones.
Although it's an old item, it hasn't been used for a very long time, so there is no screen burn-in.

The tuner is analog, so it cannot be confirmed, but I have confirmed that static and hissing sounds are produced.
There is also an antenna input terminal.

I have also confirmed that the video adjustment knobs are functional.

The antenna, handle, and angle adjustment feet show no damage.

The battery is not included.
Although this model can operate on battery power, I have only ever used it with AC power, so I cannot confirm battery operation.

It comes with the its a SONY logo sticker from when it was sold. It is attached in its original position. The screen is a bit difficult to see, however.

SONY has apparently recommended discontinuing use of this model as it is subject to a recall and the repair period has passed. This is also published on SONY's website.
If there is someone who can utilize it with an understanding of this, it will prevent this Showa-era masterpiece from being discarded.

Please refer to photos 19 and 20 for the dimensions of the main unit.

Please understand that this is a check by an amateur, and complete warranty cannot be provided.

There is another unit of the same model that is considered junk.
For this unit, the video from the video input initially displays, but then cuts out after a while. The its a SONY logo sticker has also been removed and reattached to a different part.
The price listed is for one unit, but please contact me if you wish to purchase both units, including the junk one. Although shipping costs will be considerable, the junk unit will be included as a bonus. Please also let me know if you would like it.
