One Shaku Eight Sun Flute (D-Tuning).
Length approx. 545mm, Weight approx. 445g.
It produces a rich, resonant tone with a substantial feel,
and its beautiful sound blends exceptionally well with the strings,
making it an instrument used for Jiuta and Koto music performances.
Sound production has been confirmed ☆
[Sound]
It has a dense, resonant tone with a substantial feel,
but unlike the harsh sounds of modern flutes,
it has a calm yet
deeply resonant sound that carries far ☆
With a deep embouchure,
it produces a powerful, clear volume!
It blends with the strings and elevates the entire piece,
a truly wonderful instrument ☆
[Crack Repair]
There are vertical lines above and below the four holes, but they are only on the surface
and have been securely repaired with rattan wrapping.
There are no issues with the sound whatsoever,
and all notes, including the Otsu-Ro, play clearly.
[Embouchure]
Likely made of water buffalo horn.
[Joint Decoration]
Super high-grade Ishime silver!
The Ishime hammering is incredibly delicate, as fine as sand,
possessing a special beauty and magnificence!
Furthermore, extra-thick silver has been used,
giving it a substantial weight,
making it likely a top-of-the-line, highest-grade flute.
There is no looseness or play in the joint.
A rare and beautiful masterpiece, one shaku eight sun, that is hard to come by.
