Shamisen Body - Ayasugi-do - Red Sandalwood

Regarding the purchase date, it was about 8 years ago, purchased new from Nakamuraya, a shamisen specialty store.

Regarding the usage period, it has been used about once a week for 8 years, and was in use right up until I decided to list it, so it is in a usable condition immediately.

The *tenjin* (headstock) chipped once and was repaired at a shamisen specialty store, but a slight scratch remains.

The *bachi* (plectrum) is made of tortoise shell and a plastic-like material that resembles ivory. The tortoise shell *bachi* is harder, while the other ivory-like *bachi* is slightly softer.

I have customized it in various ways, so it has a slightly unusual appearance, but I believe it is a product with good sound and is easy to use.
