Chanchiki Antler Mallet No. 218
Festival preparations are likely starting. We've seen an increase in purchases. Why not play festival music with these durable antler drumsticks?
The chanchiki is also known as atarigane or kane. Drumsticks for Japanese instruments are called shumoku, while those for Western instruments are called mallets.
I, the seller, made these myself. As you can see in the photos, the bamboo sticks may have discoloration or bending (flexibility)... However, they are perfectly functional for playing and produce good sound. The discoloration is natural.
These drumsticks are a slender type. They should be good for smaller chanchiki. For those who are concerned, I've included a larger-headed one as a bonus.
Please note that the chanchiki shown in the photo is not for sale.
Materials: Ezo deer antler, madake bamboo (oil-treated)
Size: Handle length 27-28 cm. Actually, I'm not sure which one is the bonus. The preference for size may vary depending on the user.
Other: A self-produced CD will be included as a gift.
I would be happy if you could listen to even one song.
I will ship via Rakuraku Mercari.
Thank you for looking.
