The SA-15S2 is reputed to be a masterpiece that produces beautiful sound among Marantz's historical CD players. Even when compared multiple times with the SA-10, its tone is indistinguishable. If compared to paintbrushes, the SA-15S2's brush is thicker, making its bass sound richer. The SA-10 has slightly better resolution. Due to the amount of bass, in a blind test, one might answer that the SA-15S2 is the higher-end model. It's a difficult decision to part with it, but it's being listed due to space constraints.
