Description

Animal Hair Material - 2 Items

① Raccoon Patch
② Nutria Patch

① Characteristics and Main Uses of Raccoon Material
This material is characterized by its two-layer structure, consisting of guard hair (outer hair) and underfur (inner hair).
Wings and tails for streamers and tube flies
The long, glossy guard hair is used for the wing and tail sections of flies that imitate small fish (streamers). It absorbs water well underwater and moves subtly (pulsates), making it highly effective at attracting fish.

② Nutria: Characterized by slightly stiff guard hairs and dense downy fur. The fur has a glossy sheen, with moderate stiffness and resilience. It maintains its shape well underwater and attracts fish with subtle vibrations. Used for wings of streamers and salmon flies.
