A wireless MIDI adapter for MIDI-compatible electronic instruments. It allows wireless MIDI data transmission and reception with iOS devices and Macs equipped with MIDI-compatible music apps. STANDARD MODE supports simultaneous connection of up to 4 devices, and FAST MODE supports connection of 2 devices.

In recent years, music production has become possible anytime and anywhere. With such environmental changes, it is natural to want to be free from the clutter of cables. However, wireless systems require easy setup, as well as high response performance and reliability equivalent to wired connections. With Roland's WM series, you can be freed from these worries and unleash your boundless creativity in music production.

By connecting to electronic devices such as keyboards and rhythm machines equipped with standard MIDI IN/OUT terminals, you can wirelessly transmit and receive MIDI data with iOS devices and Macs equipped with MIDI-compatible music apps. You can also transmit and receive data with instruments connected to another WM-1, or with a PC connected to the wireless MIDI dongle WM-1D. Similar to standard MIDI cables, you can transmit and receive not only note information but also tempo synchronization, program change information, and control change information, enabling unprecedented comfortable setup and cable-less performance.
