【Excellent Condition / Partial Maintenance Required】SONY CFS-66 Energy 66 As-Is

【Product Condition】
This is the Sony Energy 66, a masterpiece released in 1981.
The exterior is beautiful for its age.
Cleaned at home.
- Exterior: The aluminum panel still has a shine and is in very clean condition.
- Cleaning: Exterior and interior details, speaker grilles, and battery compartment have all been cleaned.
- Operation Check:
    - Cassette: Playback of one song, fast forward, and rewind operations have been confirmed.
        * Due to the age of the unit, there is a slight catching sensation during rewind.
        * The unit does not automatically stop (auto-stop) when the tape reaches the end.
        * It does auto-stop after playback finishes.
    - Radio: Reception is unconfirmed due to a broken antenna.
    - Controls: Volume, balance, tone, and mic fader all adjust normally.
    - Meters: Both left and right meters move normally in response to sound.
- Points to Note:
    - There are slight dents on the speaker grilles.
    - There is a small tear on the baffle part.
- Battery Compartment: No leakage.
- Recording function unconfirmed.
【Details】
This unit is attractive with its solid metal design and analog meters.
While the exterior condition is very good, there is some paint peeling on the corners. It is ideal as a base unit for repair/maintenance, or as interior decor or store fixtures.
