This is a Yaen that has been tested and proven to catch fish.
We arrived at this design after much experimentation! The FLAP Roller Yaen is specialized for catching fish.
It is an ultra-lightweight, one-touch roller Yaen that has been simplified and stripped of unnecessary features, focusing on ensuring a secure hookset without causing any discomfort to the squid.
The roller is a straight Yaen with a PTFE (fluoropolymer resin) tube. It is my personal belief that the risk of line trouble caused by the unexpected splash of splash-type Yaen upon water entry is unnecessary. If the weight balance is optimized, the Yaen will naturally lift its head (Head Up) upon arrival! Specifically, my Yaen's FLAP acts like an airplane wing, receiving water pressure and causing it to Head Up upon arrival. Of course, it will also Head Up when you set the hook. Furthermore, to accommodate 20cm-sized horse mackerel, the distance from the first pivot to the tip has been set to approximately 20cm, and the hook has been upgraded to L size.
When the horse mackerel is held vertically, it is highly likely to hook in the mouth.
The first pivot roller has a diameter of 2mm, so Yaen stoppers can also be used.
During the trial production, several friends tested it and reported feeling hooked the moment it arrived.
