I used to ride shortboards, but I bought this for small waves. It catches waves even when it's knee-high, and you can ride across the wave when it's thigh-high.

It doesn't have the mushy feel of a typical soft board; it's a solid board that feels like a regular board and will last a long time.

This is a great board not only for beginners but also for intermediate surfers who want to have fun in small waves.

I think it's perfect for getting started with mid-lengths.

I've used it for about 30 sessions as a second board, so there are some scratches, but I think it's still in good condition.
