Gear Lab Bait Capsule for Long Casting, Size 20, 2 pcs
10.00 $
Description
This is a Gear Lab original rig for long-casting with live bait.
This rig is designed for long-casting with bait that easily breaks apart, such as bunches of live bait, boke (a type of sea worm), or mantis shrimp, when using the bukkomi (bottom fishing) style.
You place the baited hook inside the cage with the bait facing upwards, cast it long, and after it reaches the bottom, pull it 1-2 meters. This action causes the cage to face downwards, releasing the bait.
While this is a highly handmade rig, it was purchased new from the official online store.
It is now discontinued and believed to be difficult to obtain new.
I ended up not using it and kept it in storage, but I am listing it for sale as I am organizing my belongings.
The packaging has faded and the bag has deteriorated due to storage.
