Description
Aoshima Initial D Takumi Fujiwara AE86 Trueno Volume 1 Specification
This is a finished product.
The diorama is not included this time, but it will be carefully packed in its original box and then further packed in a cardboard box for shipping.
The interior of the car body and engine bay have been painted according to the instruction manual.
All painting was done with an airbrush.
For the plated parts, the plating was completely removed and painted with metallic paints specific to the material.
The body has undergone surface treatment, followed by primer, white x2, clear coat (lacquer), decal application, clear coat (lacquer), and finally polished with compound.
Applying lacquer over decals can damage them, but this painting method involves multiple layers applied separately.
The clear lacquer forms a strong film, and the subsequent compounding results in a shiny body.
The license plate was produced using a stereolithography printer (the characters are recessed molds) and is very realistic with its thickness.
Even the Gunma characters are finely detailed.
