Description
【Reason for Discount / Rare Item】Steinberg CUBASE VST Parallel Port Dongle
This is a parallel port connected dongle that was used to launch CUBASE around 2002. It was actually used at the time, but its current operational status has not been confirmed. We recommend this item, sold as-is, to CUBASE users from that era or collectors.
At the time, while Mac's Vision and ProTools were mainstream, CUBASE running on Windows was still a minority. However, for those who understand the software culture of that era when it was an exploration of next-generation MIDI sound sources, this item offers a sense of nostalgia and history. It may be useful for your collection or for recreating vintage sounds, as a piece of the valuable history that walked alongside CUBASE, which has now become a representative music software. (The software itself has been discarded.)
