Model Train: Japanese National Railways (JNR) Old Chuo Line 3-Car Set

This appears to be a model train of the old Chuo Line (likely 101 series or 103 series).
It is from around 1980 and has been stored at home for a long time.

The powered car appears to be a UM-5 (single A) battery type, but when I inserted batteries I had on hand, it did not operate.

As it has been stored for a long time, it does not operate normally. Please consider this a collectible item. Operation is not guaranteed.
