Fast shipping + free shipping. Fishing bait. Purple mussel, small size, 1kg.

Thank you for viewing.

These are Purple Mussels. They are similar to the common mussel (Murasaki Igai) in the same family, but their color varies slightly as shown in the images. The catch results are said to be the same as common mussels. As they are easier to obtain during this season, we are listing them under the name Purple Mussel (Murasaki Inko Gai).

*Please refrain from ordering if you are in Okinawa Prefecture, Kyushu region, or other specific island areas, as we do not ship to these locations.

① The size ranges from less than 3 cm to 0.5 cm, sold as 1 kg without size selection. As we do not meticulously sort them, there may be some mussels larger or smaller than the 3-0.5 cm range. We will do our best to remove dirt, cracked shells (including those already open and dead), barnacles, and seaweed, but some may still be present.

② As shown in the photo, some mussels are clumped together with byssal threads, while others are individual. These are also sold without size selection.

③ If you wish to specify a delivery date, please do so within one week from your order date and provide your destination prefecture in a message. This is because we cannot determine the exact delivery date for live bait sent anonymously. Please understand that delivery dates may be changed or orders canceled due to weather, high waves, or strong winds.

④ These are for fishing bait and not for human consumption, so they will be shipped in a water-repellent cardboard box via standard shipping. If temperatures rise, ice packs will be included. We have shipped over 800 orders of mussels without any reports of damage, so please rest assured.

Sales and shipping will be conducted under the conditions described in ①-④. If you are concerned about other details such as packaging or box types, please refrain from ordering.

We do not ship to Okinawa Prefecture, some remote islands, or areas that require ferry transport.
