Vintage 1982 handmade floral cross stitch, preserved in a black and gold frame with an olive green mat. Cream flowers and green foliage are stitched on ivory Aida cloth in a graphic botanical design. The handwritten inscription on the back is dated June 25, 1982 and records that the piece was given as a thank-you for hosting a wedding. Dimensions: 12” H × 7.75” W × 0.5” D Material: Cross stitch on Aida cloth, glass, mat and frame Colors: Cream, green, olive, black and gold Date: 1982 Condition: Good vintage condition. Needlework presents well. The frame has visible age-related surface wear and scuffing, particularly along the top edge and corners, as shown in photos. Original handwritten inscription remains on the back.
