Fishing Bait - Super Fresh Sigaya Octopus (Hapalochlaena maculosa) 500g - Proven to be effective for fishing

These are Shigaya octopuses (long-armed octopus) harvested in the middle of the night on October 7, 2025.

*The octopus shipped will be 500g per pack.

This bait is particularly effective for fish such as Taman (Emperor Snapper), Gala (Giant Trevally, Bluefin Trevally, and other large trevally species), and Makubu (Humphead Wrasse), and is popular for its ability to attract a wide variety of fish.

It's quite expensive at fishing tackle shops, so I believe this is a great value product.

The octopuses were caught alive and have been portioned and frozen within 2 hours of returning home.

*The photo in the second image shows the octopus alive.

*The photo in the image shows a Taman caught with this bait.

This is a reliable fishing bait with a proven track record of successful catches.

Since it's freshly caught, the freshness is exceptional.

The contents of the bag are a mix of large, medium, and small sizes.

*For 500g, the number of octopuses will be approximately 4 to 9 individuals, depending on the size at this time of year.

The product is weighed on a digital scale after placing a bowl and setting it to zero, so more than 500g is included.

Inspected 3 times.

In my personal opinion, I often use it for surf casting, and I've never had a trip with zero bites. I feel like I get a lot of bites.

*As of May 16, Reiwa 8 (2026), there are approximately 10kg in stock.

Bulk purchases are possible if there is enough stock, so please comment once if you are interested.

(If sold out, future arrivals are undecided.)

Although small stones and sand are carefully removed during portioning, small stones and sand may occasionally be mixed in.

Please understand that some octopuses may have detached legs when they are caught.
The size of the octopus varies by individual, so you cannot choose the size.
