☆Brand New, Unused☆ Mikura-jima Boxwood ☆ Authentic, Top-Grade Shogi Pieces ☆ Beautifully Crafted by Takekaze [Wen Zhengming] Style ☆ Rare Item

These are exquisite, top-quality carved Shogi pieces by Takefu, suitable for both display and actual play.

The calligraphy style is Moncho-min, featuring exceptionally deep and magnificent carving.

It is well-known that both Yoshiharu-Hanyu, the Eternal名人 (Meijin), and Sota Fujii, the Eternal六冠 (Rokkan), favor Takefu's pieces.

These are genuine carved pieces made from Mikurajima boxwood, purchased about 37-38 years ago from a famous Shogi specialty store, also listed on Amazon, for approximately 50,000 yen.

Today, they would cost even more, and it's highly unlikely you'd find this particular calligraphy style.

Takefu's carved pieces are becoming rare.

These are absolutely new and unused, making them incredibly beautiful. (The photos show pieces still in their cellophane wrap, along with a new piece bag and a paulownia wood box).

I only touched them briefly when taking the photos; otherwise, the pieces themselves have not been handled at all.

At the time, I was passionate about Shogi, collected these pieces, and then carefully stored them away.

These are representative works of Takefu's carved pieces, with a truly pleasant feel. You'll immediately understand the sensation when you hold them.

The surface of the pieces is smooth and has been meticulously polished, giving them a satisfying weight and a very luxurious feel.

There's no doubt they will produce a wonderful sound when played on the Shogi board.

These are truly elegant and captivating Shogi pieces.

And they are of the highest quality.

They are wonderfully crafted for both display and play, having been meticulously carved and finished.

The indescribable feel of boxwood is first-class.

It's difficult to find such new and unused, magnificent pieces by Takefu nowadays, and this may be my last offering of such pieces.

Please purchase them on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Shogi world is in a period of upheaval, centered around Fujii, the Eternal Ryuo.

For those who love Shogi, please acquire these Shogi pieces of exceptional value.

All the pieces are complete.

As shown in the photos, there are two extra歩 (fu) pieces, so you have a spare if one is lost.

They will be carefully packaged and sent to you.

I look forward to your purchase.

Please note that the flat box shown in the photos is not included.

Also, depending on the lighting, the color of the piece bag may appear slightly different in the photos. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
