Description
Beautiful pair of authentic vintage Chinese Shiwan (Shekwan) Mudman ceramic figurines. These traditional statues depict Chinese immortals/wise elders, featuring Shou Lao (the God of Longevity) with an oversized forehead and a long white beard. This specific set showcases two distinct styles of classic Shiwan artistry: **Figurine 1: Draped in a stunning, thick drip glaze featuring deep cobalt blue, white, and earthy browns with an oily appearance. He holds a staff with peaches. **Figurine 2: Finished in a warm, smooth mustard-orange/brown caramel glaze while holding a traditional item. Excellent vintage condition, with a small fleabite on the object the brown mudman is holding (see photo). Please review all photos as they are part of the description. #ShiwanMudman #ChineseAntiques #VintageDecor #WanJiangPotry #OrientalDecor #BonsaiDecor #ScholarsDesk #Chinoiserie #CollectibleFigurines #HomeDecor #PoshmarkFinds #VintageHome #AsianAntiques #DeityFigurine #ShouLao #ChinesePottery #MudmanFigurines #FengShuiDecor #EtsyVintage #MidCenturyDecor
