Food From the Stars Helen Bell de Beers Assoc Eastern Star Cook Book 1951

Vintage California Eastern Star Cook Book, published as a benefit to the Helen Bell De Beers Association of the California Order of the Eastern Star. This first edition cookbook features recipes from group members, with the submitters signature and name, including appet feeizers, smorgasbord, soup, breads, desserts, meats, seafoods, vegetables, Spanish food, luncheon dishes, salads and dressings. Super fun advertisements from 1950.  The cookbook was published in 1950, 1st edition  Spiral Bound, 256 pages.  CONDITION: The front cover has a few torn areas at the plastic comb binding (see photo), back cover has a dog earred corner. There are no detected pages missing, pages have a tiny bit of wear on edges and corners, binding tight. Pages have a few marks, hand written notations and small stains, paper darkened slightly.
