Artist-Made Hand Painted Wicker Basket 17” Colorful One-of-a-Kind Art

Original Haiiileen Hand-Painted Wicker Basket One-of-a-kind functional artwork created by Miami interdisciplinary artist Aileen Haiiileen Quintana during the pandemic. This substantial round wicker basket was individually wrapped and hand-painted in an energetic abstract composition of red, yellow, orange, blue, green, and earthy tones. Its concentric woven construction creates a mesmerizing spiral effect, while the layered color treatment transforms the traditional basket form into a vibrant sculptural object. The basket is exceptionally sturdy and very well made. It may be displayed as a freestanding decorative bowl, used for lightweight storage, incorporated into an art-filled interior, or mounted as dimensional wall art with appropriate hardware. Each basket from this handmade series is individually created, making its pattern and color composition entirely unique.
