. These cylinders have side pins pre loaded but no sidebars placed so if you are not a Assa product carrying locksmith you will have to bring it to one to get it pinned and keys made for it. The Assa Twin high security series, as well as most of assa's product lines aren't like medeco where the cylinders are constructed to fit a specific end user keyway (rendering them absolutely useless when sold on eBay without keys included). The twin keyway is totally open so any twin high security key including the Ilco brand knock offs will slide into these cylinders BUT it's the sidebar that makes the Assa system unique, every locksmith who carries Assa has their own unique sidebars and keys with the specific side bar cuts laser cut into the side milling providing an extremely difficult opening experience to anyone without a key. These ic cores will fit into any Assa original prepped or Yale prepped hardware cutouts.no box
