Rare Vintage 1960s/1970s Crushed Velvet 2-Pc Romper Set

Grail Vtg 1960s 1970s Purple Crushed Velvet Mod Jumpsuit Set. The ultimate vintage find! This spectacular, authentic late 1960s / early 1970s set features a rare all-in-one illusion romper paired with its original matching vest. The base layer is a one-piece jumpsuit combining a pastel lavender long-sleeve blouse and royal purple crushed velvet hot pants. The lavender shirt features an exaggerated, dramatic retro dagger collar and long sleeves with matching velvet button cuffs. Functional silver-tone dome buttons run continuously from the top of the shirt blouse down into the front of the high-waisted shorts. The set is completed by a matching tailored crushed velvet longline waistcoat vest featuring a deep square neck and contrast light piping to frame the illusion layer perfectly. This coordinates seamlessly as a 2-piece set that gives the ultimate layered 3-piece Mod/Go-Go aesthetic!  Material: Crushed Velvet bottoms/vest & lightweight structured poly-blend woven blouse top. Flaws: fading under arm pits and edges of collar. The velvet has a few amber age spots. I didn’t noticed it inside, shows up more in sunshine. See last pictures.
