【Overview】
This adapter provides a constant 12V supply from a separate system to prevent the amateur radio's RTC (Real-Time Clock) from resetting when the main stabilized power supply is turned OFF. This reduces the risk of keeping a large stabilized power supply constantly ON.

It can be used for models like the IC-7300M where the backup battery for the RTC has degraded due to long-term use.

【Operating Principle】
The relay connections for each power system in this adapter are as follows:
NC (Normally Closed) Contact: Backup system - AC adapter
NO (Normally Open) Contact: Main system - Stabilized power supply
COM Terminal: To the radio
Coil: Main system power supply

【When the Main System Power Supply is OFF】
The NC terminal and the COM terminal conduct, supplying DC 12V from the backup AC adapter to the radio, and charging the RTC battery.

【When the Main System Power Supply is ON】
The NO terminal and the COM terminal conduct, supplying DC 13.8V from the main stabilized power supply to the radio, allowing the radio to be used.

【How to Use (Refer to the 3rd image)】
1. Insert this adapter between the stabilized power supply (main system) and the radio. Pay attention to the input/output direction!
2. Connect an AC adapter (approx. 12V 1A) to the backup system's DC jack.
