There are recesses for Keymod, but they can also be used with M-LOK by mounting the M-LOK hardware vertically.
The back has marks because the M-LOK mounting hardware was installed at a slight angle.

The material is unknown, but due to the unique layered structure and the distinct clack-clack sound when tapping the panels together, it is likely made of fiberglass.
