DP to DVI Adapter - This passive adapter converts a full-size DisplayPort (Dual-Mode/DP++) video output from a laptop or desktop PC to a DVI input. It can be used to connect to a DVI-compatible monitor.
Can be used with DVI monitors with resolutions up to 1920x1200@60Hz.
No additional software, power, or device drivers are required for this conversion adapter. It is plug-and-play for immediate use.
When using this passive conversion adapter, the DisplayPort on the computer must support DP++ (DisplayPort Dual-Mode) functionality.
Also, conversion in the reverse direction (DVI output to DP input) is not possible. To achieve the desired resolution, the system and monitor must support that resolution.
