This item is a highly collectible vintage 1970s Brutus embroidered chambray western shirt.The Brutus clothing brand, founded in the UK in 1966, became iconic during the late 1960s and 1970s for its trend-setting denim, mod-style shirts, and western wear. This particular piece features a classic faded blue chambray fabric, a sharp dagger collar, distinct western yokes, and pearl snap buttons. The standout element is the vibrant orange and yellow novelty chainstitch embroidery across the chest yoke, depicting festive elements like acoustic guitars, stars, and cacti. I set the price high because this vintage shirt is in excellent condition and has been a favorite of mine since I thrifted it when I was in high school and it was vintage then.
