Product Description
[About the Product]
This is a magnificent carved wooden turtle figurine that was handled by Motoyama Lacquerware Store in Kitakyushu.
It features powerful carving, reminiscent of one-stroke carving, with a beautiful, flowing design from the shell to the tail.
It is a Minogame (turtle with a straw cape) design, symbolizing longevity, making it a very auspicious item.
A detachable base, seemingly made of the same type of wood, is also included.
The original store label from that time remains on the bottom, making it a craft item that evokes a sense of history.
How about using it to decorate your entryway, as an interior piece for your Japanese-style room, or for your collection?
