【Showa Retro】Hand-knitted Bamboo Zaru (Basket) - Set of 2 (Diameter 32cm & 29cm) - Bamboo Craft, Antique Tool

Deeply Flavorful Showa Retro Bamboo Basket Set
This is a set of two natural bamboo round baskets, carefully woven with traditional craftsmanship.
The bamboo has a beautiful patina from age, offering a warmth that plastic products lack.

Perfect for draining vegetables and fruits, making pickled plums or dried vegetables, and sun-drying mushrooms. Excellent breathability.
For the dining table: Use for serving soba, udon, or tempura. Instantly creates a ryokan-like atmosphere.
For interior decor: Enjoy as antique tools, such as for kitchen storage in a traditional Japanese house style, or hang them on the wall for display.

Size
Large: Diameter approx. 32cm / Height approx. 11cm
Medium: Diameter approx. 29cm / Height approx. 10cm
(Conveniently sized to nest within each other)

These are antique tools that have been actually used.
They show signs of age, including color changes characteristic of bamboo, minor splinters, detached bamboo pieces, and stains.
