The following is a quote from Vox's product description.
Sound, Structure, Design. Redefining the speaker cabinet, that's the Black Cab series.
With the compact BC108 speaker cabinet, we have fundamentally redesigned it to ensure low frequencies. We have newly developed a speaker with an extremely low resonant frequency (f0: fundamental resonant frequency), which is one of the factors determining the low-frequency reproduction limit of a speaker, enabling sufficient low frequencies despite its small size. To fully utilize the low frequencies from this speaker, we have newly designed a cabinet with a unique semi-open back structure. Despite its small size and light weight, it achieves ample cabinet volume, resulting in rich low frequencies overall.
