Japanese Dance Kimono, Costume, with Juban, Popular Entertainment, Dance Stage Costume, Approx. 145cm Length, Purple

This item is from a decluttering of my parents' home.

This is a kimono and a juban (under-kimono) tailored to match, used for Japanese traditional dance.

The previous owner was a petite woman, approximately 148cm tall.

It has been stored in a paulownia wood box for a long time.
There are storage wrinkles and a slight smell of moth repellent.
It is said to have been worn 2-3 times.
There are no faded areas or stains, but there are some scratches that look like they have been rubbed. They do not appear to be unraveling.

The fold of the collar is slightly whitish.
Also, although not shown in the images, there is one spot of very small color loss on the back of the left sleeve, appearing white. This is believed to be from the beginning.

The collar is a wide collar with two snap buttons for when it is folded in half. Two pins were also left attached. They will be left attached.
These are likely for the datejime (decorative sash).

The juban has light blue chalk marks remaining, but no stains or other defects were found. The size has not been measured.

The color is purple.
The pattern appears to be of flapping origami cranes, but it is not entirely clear. It is depicted in orange, green, white, and gold colors.

The material is likely synthetic fiber.
