This is used by attaching it to the outer barrel.
It can be attached to the outer barrel by operating the lever shown in the third photo.
It can be deployed and retracted by lowering the knob shown in the fourth photo.
The length can also be adjusted by loosening the part shown in the fifth photo.
I bought it for use with an AR-15, but I do not recommend it as it transmits its own weight to the barrel, causing distortion and damage.
It can be used without any problems with VSR-10 and M14, where the barrel is firmly fixed.
