Raggedy Ann Doll Handmade Signed Donna Walsh Artist 14" Vintage 1972 I Love You

This is a beautiful Raggedy Ann cloth doll, hand-signed and dated 1972 on the upper back by artist Donna Walsh of McComb, Ohio.  About the Artist: Donna M. Walsh (1923–2024) was a lifelong resident of McComb, Ohio, and a master seamstress known for her love of creating handcrafted Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls. Each piece was made with exceptional attention to detail, complete with hand-stitching, custom attire, and signature touches.  Features & Details:  Height: Approx. 14 inches  Signatures/Markings: Hand-stamped/written on the back: DONNA WALSH / MCCOMB, OHIO / 1972. Features the iconic hand-stitched red heart on the chest reading I LOVE YOU.   Face & Hair: Full red yarn hair, 2-hole mother-of-pearl style button eyes with hand-embroidered black eyelashes and smile, and a red felt nose.   Outfit: Red and white gingham check dress with lace trim on the sleeves and collar, featuring a hand-crocheted rosette on the neckline centered with a sparkling rhinestone accent. Back of dress secures with two white buttons.   Legs & Feet: Red-and-white horizontal striped cloth legs with black fabric shoes.  Condition: Fantastic vintage condition for a 50+ year old handmade piece!  Clothes and yarn hair are fully intact and firm.  No holes, tears, or structural damage.
