Ichimatsu Ningyo Boy, Signed Tokuhisa, Approx. 36cm, Antique Bisque Doll
56.10 $
Description
This is a cute, small boy dressed in a Tsumugi silk kimono with tubular sleeves.
It is signed by Tokuhisa. When you press his belly, he cries Genki! (energetically).
A sticker with a name (likely from a previous owner) remains on his right shin. The text has been digitally obscured.
There are small chips around both upper eyelids and on his left cheek below the eye. This is a doll that has been cherished for a very long time. It also has old stains. There may be other imperfections.
Please examine the photos carefully before considering your purchase.
Those seeking new items should refrain from purchasing. We await purchases from those who understand and appreciate vintage items.
Addendum: If it is Tokuhisa Ota, he is said to be a Tōrei Ningyōshi (a doll maker who creates dolls as gifts or tokens of appreciation).
Thank you for viewing.
