This item was received from a household with cats.

It was displayed in a display case on a floor where cats do not come, so I believe there is no impact, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned.

This is an old item with many scratches, so please refrain from purchasing if you cannot judge from the photos or if you are sensitive.

Furthermore, I absolutely refuse perfectionists who cannot tolerate oversights and extremely sensitive individuals who demand new-like quality.

This is a traditional folk toy and craft item that has been produced mainly in hot spring areas of the Tohoku region.

This Kokeshi doll is likely of the Naruko style, produced in places like Naruko Onsen in Miyagi Prefecture, due to its characteristic head shape and body pattern.

Each doll is handmade by artisans, and it is common for the head and body to be fitted separately.

The bottom is inscribed with 熊谷区 (Kumagai-ku) in black ink, which is likely the signature of the artisan or artist.

Traditional Kokeshi dolls are popular as collectibles and are frequently traded.
