From the tag in the second image, this item is a vintage garment manufactured in the United States from the mid to late 1980s (around 1985-1987) by Sand-Knit under the MacGregor umbrella.

Brand and Background: Sand-Knit is a long-established American sportswear brand that once produced official uniforms for the NFL, NBA, and other leagues. As it was acquired by MacGregor in 1984, the tag that also displays MacGregor SPORTING GOODS is a distinctive design only seen in the few years following the acquisition.
Manufacturing Location: BERLIN, WI U.S.A. on the tag indicates the location of Sand-Knit's main factory in Berlin, Wisconsin.
Dating Details: Since the design changed to a tag with a crown logo in late 1987, the simple block letter logo tag in the image is highly likely to have been manufactured during the short period of 1985, 1986, and early 1987.
