-S.Yairi-
Founded in Nagoya City in 1938 by Sadao Yairi as Yairi Gakki Seizo. It was loved by famous musicians such as Shinji Tanimura and Yosui Inoue, but as the folk song boom declined and acoustic guitar sales dropped, the company went bankrupt in 1982.
Later, S.Yairi was revived as a brand of Kyōritsu Corporation in 2000. In 2003, Hiroshi Yairi, the son and management, revived S.Yairi as a brand of Dalian Long Music Instrument Co., Ltd., founded in China.
