The Pyro Master 2 is a compact, foldable wood stove that replicates the secondary combustion structure found in high-performance wood stoves and the heat retention of a traditional Japanese charcoal grill (shichirin) through its double-layer construction. Aiming for a stove that is compact yet highly functional, its rigidity is achieved by integrating a 4mm stainless steel frame and trivet, allowing you to safely use cast iron skillets and 2L kettles. Why is the double-layer structure superior? When fuel like wood chips heats up, combustible gases are generated. These gases ignite and flame, creating combustion (primary combustion). However, in normal combustion, not all combustible gases are burned, and the remaining gases are released as smoke. Secondary combustion is the process of supplying fresh air to these unburned gases and burning them again. By burning the gases that would otherwise be released as smoke, it reduces smoke and consumes fuel efficiently.
