From the Montbell HP:
This highly functional balaclava offers exceptional wind protection and warmth, suitable for extreme cold conditions, and can be used in four different ways depending on the situation and purpose. The face-covering portion is made of ClimaPlen® with a pile lining on the back, which not only blocks out cold winds but also prevents freezing as the fabric itself does not retain much water. The portion other than the face uses a medium-thick material with excellent stretchability. It also has superior sweat absorption, ensuring a comfortable fit.
